We are heading up to YC (Youth Conference) 2009 in Edmonton on May 22-24 and have 10 pretty excited people. Pray for the leaders and drivers that they will get some rest on this crazy, awesome, inspiring weekend.

That's right people, tonight is the Great White North Super Tour in Calgary and we are going to be there having a great time and meeting some cool bands from around Canada and the USA. If you couldn't make it, that's too bad, but for those that are coming - WOOHOO!! I will see you at the church at 4:45 and remember to bring your Permission Slip.
On September 22, we are heading up to the Great White North Super Tour in Calgary. We have purchased tickets and now need your parents "official" consent to let you go. Please download the Permission Slip and print it out and make sure YOU BRING IT WITH YOU ON FRIDAY!!! If you don't you won't be allowed to come. So bring some money, a permission slip and be ready to have some fun!
I just wanted to give a big shout out to some new people that came out to Youth Group earlier tonight. Becky, Rachel and Mary swung up from Champion and it was great to have them there. I met these young ladies at Rock Solid and invited them to come to Youth Group - and they did!!! Thanks to their Dad for dropping them off and picking them up.
I'd also like to say hey to my bud Kyle who was their for the first time tonight. He came with his older brother and sister and I really should have had my camera out and snapping pictures, but like an idiot, I left it in the van. Sorry guys, I'll try and do better next time.
It was great having some fresh faces around the group and I hope to see you all again. God Bless!!!
This week we are pulling off another youth group event on Friday, September 8. We will be meeting at the Vulcan Church of Christ at 7:00pm and will be leaving the church at no later than 7:10pm. Please be there on time so that we don't miss you!!! We have some pretty cool activities planned for this fall, so make sure you start coming out so that you won't miss any of them!
Also we'll give you a heads up about the Great White North Super Tour coming to Calgary on September 22. Talk to your parents and save up $15 for a kicking concert in Calgary. I gotta run so I'll see you Friday!
